About us

Wooden Seagull is a small, independent craft studio run by two people. We design and handcraft wooden everyday objects that recall what quality looked like before the age of disposability.

We began with board game accessories and toys, gradually expanding our work to include home furnishings: kitchen accessories, shelves, small furniture pieces, and decorative elements. Alongside our original designs, we also enjoy creating custom, one-of-a-kind commissions, projects that start with a client’s idea and end as a unique piece made especially for them.

We work with a wide range of wood species, both local, such as oak, maple, ash, and walnut, and exotic, including zebrano, mahogany, amaranth, and redwood, admired for their rich colour and distinctive grain. Each material is chosen thoughtfully, with durability, function, and the character of the project in mind.

Everything is made by hand, in our small workshop. We take care of every stage of the process ourselves—from the initial idea and design, through woodworking, to the final finish.

Who are we?

Filip — a wood technology engineer and graduate of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań. His technical knowledge and material experience allow him to combine craftsmanship with solid construction and functionality. He finds his best rest in working with wood and searching for solutions that ensure each piece will last for years.

Asia — a painter and graduate of the University of the Arts in Poznań. She brings sensitivity, colour, form, and attention to detail into the workshop. She is responsible for aesthetics, design, and finishing touches that give each piece its unique character.

For us, Wooden Seagull is more than just work. It is a shared space born out of a passion for creating beautiful objects designed to last.
